Order Sniping (prank)

“Order sniping” is a prank popularized by Dominic Harris in his YouTube video, “Drive Thru Order Sniping Prank,” published on December 19, 2013. The video appeared on the popular website Funny or Die on February 25, 2014.
 
The video shows someone making an order at a restaurant drive-thru. Then, a person appears out of nowhere and speaks into the microphone, adding to the order. This person then walks or runs away.

rive-thru pranks are a time-honored tradition, and in this latest iteration from Funny or Die the joke is on the customers instead of the employees. In an act called “order sniping,” Dominic Harris and DJ Sennett interrupt customers mid-order and speak into the microphone to change their order. “Cancel that. I want three churros,” says one man into the mic before walking away and leaving the customer in the car to figure out what just happened.
