“Where have you been?”/“Good employees are hard to find.”

“Good employees are hard to find” usually means that they are hard to acquire, not that they play hide-and-seek.  A joke was posted on Reddit—Jokes on August 19, 2020:

“My boss came to me at lunch: ‘Where the hell have you been? I’ve been trying to find you all morning!’ I shrugged and said: ‘Good employees are hard to find.’”
