Alamo Burger

Many restaurants offer something called an “Alamo Burger.” Often, it’s simply a hamburger with chili and cheddar cheese. (This “Alamo Burger” can be found at The Sports Scene at Terminal B of the Atlanta airport.)  The “Alamo Burger” term is not standard in restaurants, so the sandwiches can differ.

There are a lot of menu items with corny movie names at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, the multiscreen movie theater in West Oaks Mall where you can eat dinner while you catch a flick.

My dining companion gets the Alamo burger, featuring a half-pound patty with romaine, tomato, onions, cheddar, bacon and chipotle mayo layered on surprisingly crusty bread that tastes like a cross between a hamburger bun and a hard roll.
