A “beer-b-que” or “brew-b-que” (beer/brew + bar-b-que) is an event of barbecue/barbeque and beer. “Beer-B-Q” has been cited in print since at least 1959 and “Brew-B-Q” since at least 2006. Budweiser first advertised a recipe for “Beer-B-Cue Sauce” in August 1974.
