“Big Apple” Cohen-Popik Work On Television (?)
Although New York City is the media capital of the world, the "Big Apple" story would be completely ignored.

Neither Gerald Cohen nor Barry Popik has been invited on any television show—not on the network news, and not even on David Letterman's Show (at "Big Apple Corner").

In the spring of 1997, as "Big Apple Corner" was about to be dedicated, I had personally written and copied information (at tremendous sacrifice, it turned out, as both of my parents were dying in 1997) to every media outlet in the city.

No one responded.

The item below is the only coverage on New York City television. NY1 is New York City's 24-hour cable news channel. My name is given as "history buff":
