“New York” (2000)
"New York" is on U2's All That You Can Leave Behind (2000). The song isn't one of their biggest hits.

New York, New York, New York
New York, New York, New York

The Irish have been coming here for years
Feel like they own the place
They got the airport, city hall, concrete, asphalt, they even got the police
Irish, Italians, Jews and Hispanics
Religious nuts, political fanatics in the stew
Living happily not like me and you
That's where I lost you...New York

New York, New York
New York, New York

10.) New York
I'll admit, this song has pretty bad lyrics, and for that reason alone, not too many people seem to like it. I mean at one point it sounds like a meterological forecast, where Bono starts talking about New York can get into the 100s in the summer, and you need a change of clothing just to walk around the block. But musically, this is a great rock song, which also builds up to something. You might have to give it a few listens until you notice it though.
