New York Culinary Festival
The first New York Culinary Festival (May 19-21, 2006) looks to herald an annual event.

What is the New York Culinary Festival?
It is a celebration of New York City cuisine and lifestyle. It is for New York City residents and the general public. It features freshly prepared gourmet cuisine, exciting live entertainment, chef demos, educational food seminars and panel discussions on a wide range of culinary topics, plus more gourmet cuisine, family and kids entertainment, and a bit of NYC lifestyle.

When is it?
It is a weekend event, beginning on Friday evening and continuing through Sunday evening. The hours are:

Friday, May 19, 6:00pm — Midnight
Saturday, May 20, Noon — 1:00am
Sunday, May 21, Noon — 9:00pm

Where is it?
It is held at Pier 94 NY - also known as the UnConvention Center. You may recognize this site as home to some of NYC's most famous fashion events. It is located at 54th St. and 12th Ave.

How much does it cost?
Adults: $20; children (under 12): $5; admission includes all concerts, award ceremonies, chef demos, lectures, seminars, kids' activities, and access toall exhibits. Food and beverage is reasonably priced between $2 to $6 per serving.
