Office Despot (Office Depot nickname)

Office Depot is an office products and services retailer that began in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, in 1986. The nickname “Office Despot” has been cited in print since at least 1995.
 
Home Depot has been nicknamed “Home Despot” since at least 1989.

Subject: PowerBook 520C: Good for flight sims?
   
When I was fooling with one of these machines at an Office Despot, I noticed the “ghosting” I have read about in the passive screens when I moved the cursor around, and wondered if that would make a flight sim (with its constantly moving picture) unflyable.
