“The faster you run, the faster you’re done” (running adage)

‘The faster you run, the faster/sooner you’re done” is a cross country saying that has been printed on T-shirts. “The faster you run, the sooner you’re done” has been cited in print since at least 1997. “The faster you run, the faster you’re done” (the version printed on the most T-shirts) has been cited in print since at least 2006.

I don’t know if I have the spelling correct for philosophy or not. sorry. But yeah, I really like that quote. And it is so true. When we run the mile in P.E. and I am lapping everyone for the second time I tell them that the faster they run the faster that they will be done. I think that it is pretty smart.
