"The Vote for Freedom Is Never Wasted” was the presidential slogan of Gary Johnson, the 2012 Libertarian Party candidate. The slogan attempted to counter the belief of many that a vote cast for other than the Democratic or Republican parties is a wasted vote. Johnson introduced a video containing the slogan in June 2012.
“A Vote against Prohibition is a vote for Freedom and a Vote for Freedom is never wasted” was a slogan of the 1928 presidential campaign.
