“Eat, drink, and be merry” is a biblical saying. “Eat, drink, and be cozy” is a winter saying that has been printed on many images. 
 
“You can eat, drink and be cozy and D’Joint” was a headline in The Sun (Baltimore, MD) on May 30, 1980. “Sean and Chris are serving up big bowls of pasta. Come eat, drink and be cozy” was posted on Twitter by Betty’s Columbus on April 5, 2009.
 
The saying became popular in 2013. “Eat, drink, and be cozy” was posted on Twitter by laurel on October 4, 2013.
