The Atlantic Avenue Local Development Corporation is pleased to announce that the 31st annual ATLANTIC ANTIC is scheduled for Sunday, September 25th from 10 am to 6 pm. RAIN OR SHINE!!!!
Last year, there was a huge turnout at our SPECTACULAR Brooklyn street festival.
We invite all local merchants, non-profit organizations, community groups, craft persons/artisans and food vendors to purchase a booth.

One is Atlantic Antic, a street fair on Atlantic Avenue from Buttermilk Channel to Flatbush Avenue from about 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. There will be a marathon, Mayor Beame reading a proclamation, a balloon parade, David Amram's quartet, the Brooklyn Philharmonia Chorus, the pianist Eubie Blake, singers, an art show on the fence of the Brooklyn House of Detention and food.

Yesterday was Atlantic Antic Day, and the camels were part of a parade alongthe mile-and-a-half stretch from Furman Avenue to Flatbush Avenue that was crammed with jazz bands, flea markets, and scores of food stands selling everything from pita stuffed with lamb to crepes.
