“As I walk through the valley of the Shadow of Death, I remind myself you can’t trust Google Maps”

A parody of Psalm 23 involving Google Maps was posted on Twitter by Paul on September 12, 2015:

“As I walk through the valley of the Shadow of Death, I remind myself that you can’t always trust Google Maps.”

He later tweeted an additional remark:

“Should’ve gone left at the gates of hell. (Or Hull, as autocorrect suggested).”

Wikipedia: Psalm 23
Psalm 23 is the 23rd psalm of the Book of Psalms, generally known in English by its first verse, in the King James Version, “The Lord is my Shepherd”.
(...)
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

— Psalm 23:1-6

Dammit I should have taken a left at ‘perils and misfortunes’ instead of a right
