Big Apple (cocktail with sake)

Koi Restaurant, at Trump SoHo (246 Spring Street), debuted a sake-based “Big Apple” cocktail for National Sake Day on October 1, 2013. The “Big Apple” cocktail also contains an apple slice and an Asian pear slice, with rum, lemon juice and St. Germaine.

We started with The Big Apple as a welcome cocktail. The sake based cocktail is a new addition to the menu and will debut to the public on National Sake Day on October 1st. It’s not too sweet, nicely spiced with the touch of cinnamon.

HAPPY NATIONAL SAKE DAY!
I was recently invited to celebrate the one year anniversary of Koi at Trump SoHo with an intimate dinner and sake pairing for a 25-plus group of bloggers, editors and influencers.

Upon arriving, we were immediately greeted with The Big Apple, a tasty fall cocktail made with sake, in the Lounge Bar before being brought upstairs to the Library for a brief meet-and-greet with one another.
