China has a reputation for making a lot of cheaply made products. A joke about the 2019–20 Wuhan coronavirus outbreak has been printed on many images:

The politically incorrect joke went viral in late January 2020. “Don’t worry guys. The WuHan virus won’t last long. It’s made in China” was posted on Twitter by Chris MJ on January 21, 2020. “Corona virus wont last long, it’s made in China” was posted on Twitter by patrickfronda on January 24, 2020. “#coronarovirus won’t last long, because it’s made in China” was posted on Twitter by RanuKumbolo on January 25, 2020.

As racism hits Australia following the coronavirus outbreak, a Sydney cafe has apologised after it displayed an offensive sign that sparked a wave of backlash on social media.
 
Casanova by Cucina 105 in Liverpool, in Sydney’s south-west, had a message written across its front display board on Friday that read, “The coronavirus won’t last long because it was made in China!!!”
