Cheesecrap Factory (Cheesecake Factory nickname)

The Cheesecake Factory is a restaurant chain that began in California in the 1970s. The unflattering nickname of “Cheesecrap Factory” has been cited in print since at least 2005.

Wikipedia: The Cheesecake Factory
The Cheesecake Factory, Inc. (NASDAQ: CAKE) is a restaurant company in the United States. The company operates 165 upscale, casual, full-service dining restaurants: 151 under The Cheesecake Factory marque, 13 under the Grand Lux Cafe marque and one under the RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen marque. The Cheesecake Factory also operates two bakery production facilities, and licenses two bakery based menus for other food service operators, under The Cheesecake Factory Bakery Cafe marque.

The company used to operate one self-service, limited-menu express food service operation under The Cheesecake Factory Express marque inside the DisneyQuest family entertainment center in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Its cheesecakes and other baked goods can also be found in the cafes of many Barnes & Noble book stores.

He ended up bringing his wife to the Cheesecake Factory on top of Macy’s.
As much as I can’t stand chains like Cheesecrap Factory and Macacrappy Grill, if that’s what people like, then that’s what they like.
