Cowboy Cool

“Cowboy cool” can mean beer that’s been left in the back of a pickup in West Texas. That’s not cold, but for a cowboy in West Texas, it’s the best that can be done.

“Cowboy cool” more often means a person who looks or acts like a cowboy—and that’s “cool.”

Urban Dictionary
cowboy cool
The temperature of a beer that has been rolling around in the floorboard of a pickup truck.

“You can’t drink that Budweiser! It’s been out in the sun all day!”

“Don’t worry, I got some in my truck that’s cowboy cool.”

Texan Talk
Cowboy cool
“Chambre”, room temperature, referring to beer. It’s called “cowboy cool” even if the “room” is the trunk of a car on a hot summer day. “I don’t have any cold beers, but you’re welcome to one of these if you don’t mind it being cowboy cool.”

Down Home-isms (Free Republic)
How about “cowboy cool”. It’s in reference to the temperature of a six pack of beer that has been sitting all day in the trunk of a car in West Texas.
