“Decaffeinated coffee is kind of like kissing your sister”

“Decaffeinated coffee is kind of like kissing your sister” is a one-line coffee saying that has been printed on many images. “‘Decaffeinated coffee?  Kinda like kissing your sister.’—Bob Irwin (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address))” was posted on the newsgroup alt.sources on October 20, 1990. This is probably not Australian naturalist Bob Irwin.

“A tie game is like kissing your sister” is a related “kissing your sister” saying. The “kissing your sister” expression means something dull and awkward, rather than exciting (such as kissing a person one is attracted to).

One of my favourites has to be “Drinking decaf coffee is just like kissing your sister.”

Kinda says it all doesn’t it?
