“Modern man is frantically trying to earn enough to buy things he’s too busy to enjoy”

“Modern man is frantically trying to earn enough to buy things he’s too busy to enjoy” is a saying that has been printed on many images. “Modern man is frantically trying to earn enough to buy things he’s too busy to enjoy” was printed in “The Country Parson,” a one-panel comic strip by Frank A. Clark (1911-1991), in many newspapers on July 10, 1974.
