The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has been perceived by many to have a political agenda to its investigations. The FBI has been called the “Fake Bureau of Investigation” by those who believe that the bureau isn’t honest. “Fake Bureau of Investigation” has been cited in print since at least 1997, but it became popular in 2016, when the FBI failed to indict then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
