Ceiling fans always seem to move too slowly or too fast. A joke has been printed in an image:
 
“My ceiling fan has 3 settings/speeds:

3) Is going to fly off the ceiling and kill someone.”
 
The joke was posted on Twitter on February 6, 2011, when two speeds were given. The popular “3 speeds” form of the joke was posted on Twitter on August 15, 2012.
 
“All ice dispensers have only two settings: 1. No ice; 2. Holy Mother of God, that’s too much ice!!!” is a similar joke.
