Two of my friends had a salad with romaine and radicchio recently.  One of them looked at the other and said “It’s a good thing you used both sorts of greens.  With just the romaine it would have been radicchio-less.”

Well this is simply a radicchioless assertion. Lettuce take a step back endive into the facts: Per the CDC, the contaminated romaine lettuce is from Yuma, AZ; all of the romaine lettuce at Berkeley Bowl right now is from California.
