“The dollar votes more times than the man”

“The dollar votes more times than the man” means that one person has only one vote, but one rich person can use his or her money to influence the vote many times. American political scientist Michael Parenti wrote in Democracy for the Few (1995, 6th edition):

“There is a century-old saying, ‘The dollar votes more times than the man.’”

There is no evidence that the exact wording of the saying existed before Parenti, although it has long been commonly known that money influences politics.

I would argue the dollar votes more times than the man, even with relaxed voter ID laws. Just my opinion.
