“The only problem with troubleshooting is that trouble shoots back”

“The only problem with troubleshooting is that trouble shoots back” is a jocular saying about troubleshooting. “The problem with troubleshooting is that trouble shoots back” was cited on a bumper sticker in 1989. Authorship of the saying is unknown.

“What’s the difference between an American and a computer?”/“An American doesn’t have troubleshooting” and “Why don’t developers carry guns?”/“They have troubleshooting” are other troubleshooting sayings.

Mae West: Trouble Shoots Back
(...)
In “Courting Mae West,” Texas Guinan [vividly portrayed in NYC during The Fresh Fruit Fest in July 2008 by Eileen Glenn] visits Mae West [dynamically portrayed in July 2008 by Yvonne Sayers] backstage at the Royale Theatre on 1 October 1928 to warn her about the raid.
• • MAE WEST: Tex, isn’t there a way to trouble-shoot this?
• • TEXAS GUINAN: Honey child, the problem
