“What do you call a group of millionaires watching the World Series?” (joke)

A very popular sports joke is told about a non-championship sports team:

Q: What do you call a group of millionaires watching the World Series on TV?
A: The New York Yankees.

The joke has been told about many teams in many sports. “Q: What do you call 45 millionaires watching the Super Bowl on a big screen TV? A: The Dallas Cowboys” was cited in print in 1997.
