“Wizard of Moving” (Oz Moving & Storage)
Avi Oz founded Oz Moving & Storage in the early 1990s. Taking a cue from the film The Wizard of Oz, the company slogan is "Wizard of Moving."

With ten years of experience behind him, in 1993 Avi Oz established Oz Moving & Storage. Mr. Oz's reputation in the moving industry was then as it is now—second to none.
In a short time, Oz Moving & Storage was leading both the residential and commercial moving markets.
We started out in a small storefront on West 47th Street in Manhattan. Today we have three warehouses, over twenty brand new trucks, all equipped with state of the art GPS tracking technology and wireless Internet access, and four Manhattan offices, conveniently located on East 78th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues, West 80th Street at Broadway, East 90th Street at 2nd Avenue and 7th Avenue South at Perry Street. Come in for a personal estimate, a wide variety of boxes, and as always, free advice.
Oz Moving & Storage is a family business, and we all take pride in our work. This includes our most important employees—the professionally trained movers who personally handle your belongings. Word-of-mouth, account clients, repeat customers, and recommendations are our primary source of business.
Oz Moving & Storage and Mr.Oz personally have been honored with numerous awards for their professional and charitable work. Their non-profit work,advocacy of consumer education,and superior service has been featured on numerous television news shows,and in publications such as Manhattan File Magazine,The Manhattan Spirit, and Our Town newspapers.
