A “wrappetizer” (wrap + appetizer) is a wrap sandwich that serves as an appetizer, but not usually a complete meal.  Anchor Food Products (owned by McCain USA) trademarked “wrappetizers” with a first use in commerce from November 2000. Despite its trademark (that many writers are unaware of), “wrappetizer” is a food portmanteau that has had increasing use in the 2000s.
