The Event
Celebrate the abilities of all people while spending the day in beautiful Central Park. The Central Park Challenge, organized by YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities Network, helps to build brighter futures for people with disabilities. The day includes a 3K fundraising walk, 5K competitive run, Junior All American Races, and Family Fun Day.
YAI is a network of not-for-profit health and human services agencies dedicated to building brighter futures for people with disabilities of all ages and their families. YAI serves individuals, families, and communities in New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, and Sullivan Counties within New York State. Services are also offered to the people of New Jersey and Puerto Rico. The National Training Institute offers additional support to numerous agencies which serve people with disabilities throughout the United States.
YAI's more than 250 programs and direct services benefit more than 15,000 individuals and their families daily.
