“You should eat a waffle! You can’t be sad if you eat a waffle!”

“You should eat a waffle! You can’t be sad if you eat a waffle!” has been printed on GIFs. American author Lauren Mracle wrote in ttfn (2006), a young-adult novel about instant messaging among high school students:

mad maddie: u should go eat a waffle! u can’t be sad if u eat a waffle!!!

“You should eat a waffle! You can’t be sad if you eat a waffle!” is a saying that has been promoted by some waffle shops and that has been popular on Waffle Day (March 25th in Sweden and many other countries, but August 24th in the United States).
