"Crashiversary” (crash + anniversary) is the anniversary of a crash. The word “crashiversary” was used in 2003 and in 2007 for the anniversaries of motorcycle and car crashes.
“Crashiversary” was used in September 2009 on the one-year anniversary of the September 2008 stock market crash. A Mark Fiore animated political cartoon, “Crashiversary,” popularized the financial use of the term.
