A “feastival” (feast = festival) is an event with food (“feast”) and usually some entertainment. The word “feastival” has been cited in print since at least 1939, with increased use from the 1970s.
 
Two of the more popular annual “feastivals” in the United States are the “Feastival” (Philadelphia, PA) and the “Gourmet Feastival” (Tampa, FL).
