“Feel Like a Kid Again!!” (Uncle Louie G’s)
Uncle Louie G's is a new Italian ices and ice cream chain from Brooklyn, but it has an old-time Brooklyn feel to it. Its slogan is "Feel Like a Kid Again!!"

http://www.unclelouieg.com/company-history.html
While the legend of Uncle Louie G started many years ago, Uncle Louie G the company was formed March 16, 1999. Founders John Russo and his sister in-law Carmen Barrios opened the first Uncle Louie G store at 362 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn New York. That first modest shop doubled as the company factory. John and Carmen would dream up and experiment with their "secret recipes" by night and sell their delicious Italian ices and ice cream by day. Later that year Drew Bizzoco joined the family becoming the third partner in Uncle Louie G, Inc.

We have since re-located manufacturing into a state of the art facility, still in Brooklyn, at 1235A McDonald Avenue and opened 5 more company owned and operated stores. In February of 2001, Uncle Louie G became a franchisor. The secret recipes of John and Carmen continue to drive Uncle Louie G to new heights… in fact, most of our franchisees credit the taste and quality of our products as the reason(s) for wanting to open Louie G Franchises of their own.

Now, with almost 50 locations (from New York to Florida) , Brooklyn's best kept secret is poised to become America's favorite desert provider. To that end, we've recently introduced new products starting with the freshest, tastiest, ice cream cakes on the market, then the release of our mouth watering gourmet chocolates line and most recently putting the final touches on our fresh roasted coffee blends.
