Aug. 5—ARLINGTON, Texas-Tourism officials want to remind tourists that the fun they come for is in their city and not in neighboring ones.
After all, said Linda DiMario, president of the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau, other cities might claim Six Flags Over Texas, the Texas Rangers or Hurricane Harbor, but those spots have Arlington addresses.

ARLINGTON, Texas, Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/—Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau unveiled the new brand campaign, “Arlington, FUN CENTRAL, Texas” at a tourism rally today. Held at Legends of the Game Baseball Museum, the program began with a multimedia presentation of George C. Scott’s first scene in the film, “Patton.”
