"Keep Dallas Douche” is yet another imitation of the popular slogan “Keep Austin Weird.” “Keep Dallas Douche” is a bumper sticker slogan since at least April 2010; there is also a Facebook page.
The seemingly endless imitation Texas city slogans include “Keep San Antonio Lame,” “Keep Dallas Pretentious,” “Keep Dallas Plastic,” “Keep Houston Dirty,” “Keep Denton Chido,” “Keep Abilene Boring,” “Keep College Station Normal,” “Keep Georgetown Normal,” “Keep Round Rock Mildly Unusual,” “Keep Wimberley Weirder,” “Keep Lubbock Flat” and “Keep Waco Wacko.”
Dallas (pronounced /ˈdæləs/) is the third-largest city in Texas and the ninth-largest in the United States. As of 2009, the population of Dallas was at 1.3 million according to the US Census Bureau. The city is the largest economic center of the 12-county Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metropolitan area that according to the March 2010 U.S. Census Bureau release, had a population of roughly 6.5 million as of July 2009. The metropolitan area is the fourth-largest metropolitan area in the United States.
Founded in 1841 and formally incorporated as a city in February, 1856, the city’s economy is primarily based on banking, commerce, telecommunications, computer technology, energy, and transportation, home to several Fortune 500 companies. Located in North Texas and a major city in the American South, Dallas is the core of the largest inland metropolitan area in the United States that lacks any navigable link to the sea. The city’s prominence arose from its historical importance as a center for the oil and cotton industries, its position along numerous railroad lines, a strong industrial and financial sector, and its status as a major inland port (due largely to the presence of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, one of the largest and busiest in the world). It was rated as a beta world city by the Globalization and World Cities Study Group & Network.

Shouldn’t it be “Keep Dallas Douchey” instead of “Keep Dallas Douche”?

You need to move to Dallas. Make sure you get one of those bumper stickers “Keep Dallas Douche”.

Keep Texas Self-Deprecating
By Troy Schulze, Fri., Oct. 1 2010 @ 11:43AM
It seems there’s a contest going on between Texas’ major cities to see who can devise the most self-deprecating city slogan and slap it on a bumper sticker. The above sticker ("Keep Dallas Douche”—ed.) was created by Dallasites earlier this year, and the makers (appropriately) started a Facebook group on April 1.
