Mount Morris Park (formerly Marcus Garvey Park) will host the 33rd Annual Skyscraper-Harlem Cycling Classic. Regarded as one of the most competitive cycling events in the nation, the Classic is New York City's oldest criterium race (a multi-lap race on a closed course with laps typically shorter than one mile). This year's Father's Day cycling celebration will also serve as the 2006 New York State Criterium Championship. The Classic will feature races in the following categories: Juniors, Masters, Women and Professional. Winners of the professional race will be awarded with the prestigious Mayor's Brotherhood Trophy. Community races for kids and adults will commence at 12:00pm.
