“A guy walks into a bar…” is a typical form of what has been called the “bar joke.” A bartender anti-joke version is:
   
“A bartender walks into a bar. He works there.”

And totally ruins the joke” was posted on Twitter by .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) on September 17, 2009. “a bartender walks into a bar, because he works there. #intobarjoke” was posted on Twitter by Andy Erikson on March 31, 2010. “A bartender walks into a bar and says ‘Fuck I hate going to work’” was posted on Twitter by Jack Bubbles on May 4, 2012.
 
“A janitor, a waitress, and a bartender walk into a bar. Then they open for the day” is a related anti-joke.
