“A good pun is its own reword”

“Virtue is its own reward” is an old saying. “A good pun is its own reword” is a jocular saying that has been printed on many images.

“A good pun is its own reword” was printed in Omni magazine in 1986 and in the book Money Talks, But Mine Just Says Goodbye: More bumper stickers from the information highway (1996) by Arthur Goldstuck and William Ramwell.
