Jerry Jones Wants Some ‘Glory Hole’
by Brian Floyd • Jul 29, 2012 5:54 PM EDT
This is a real quote from Jerry Jones and if you’ll excuse me, I’m over here dying now.

“For me, it’s a reminder,” Jones said. “I’ve been here 23 years. I’ve been here when it was glory hole days and I’ve been here when it wasn’t. And, so, having said that, I want me some glory hole. So I have that perspective.”

Jerry Jones & researching just exactly what is a ‘glory hole’
Not for the first time in his tenure as owner/GM/president of the Dallas Cowboys has Jerry Jones used the description “glory hole.” He did so again at the Dallas Cowboys’ introductory press conference over the weekend in Oxnard, Calif.

Jones told reporters: “I’ve been here when it was glory hole days and when it wasn’t. I want me some glory hole!”
(...)
According to onlineslangdictionary.com, it means: “A hole in a wall accessible from both sides (especially the divider between bathroom stalls) used for anonymous sex.”

Jerry Jones Said “I Want Me Some Glory Hole,” And He Meant It
by Glenn Davis | 1:53 pm, July 30th, 2012
Sometimes you just have to sit there for a minute (or several), contemplating exactly how you want to go about writing something. Reading that not only did Jerry Jones use the phrase “glory hole” when talking to reporters about the coming season (emphasis on “coming” hehehe nailed it), not only did he then use it again (saying, incredibly, “I want me some glory hole”), proving he meant to use it the first time and generally putting his media session in danger of turning into something like this old Batman comic, but he’s apparently done this a lot? That was one of those times.

Well, Cowboys PR man Rich Dalrymple earned his money and reminded the gathered (and understandably snickering) media members that “glory hole” is actually a commonly-used phrase in the oil industry that made Jones rich. And apparently it is.
