“A system that has no problems printing currency without wealth will have no problems printing votes without voters” was posted on Twitter by Alice Smith on November 5, 2020. The quote was made during a year when the Federal Reserve printed billions of dollars (quantitative easing), and after a presidential election (during the coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic) that featured many dubious votes of mail-in ballots.

The saying means that a nation that will debase its currency will also probably debase its elections. “The Left have moved on from quantitative easing to quantitative voting,” posted on Twitter by Alice Smith later on November 5, 2020, is a related quotation.
