“A guy walks into a bar...” is a typical form of what has been called the “bar joke.” A version with a tall person is:

“A tall guy walks into a bar. That’s what he gets for being tall.”

This version was posted on Reddit—Jokes on June 9, 2017.

Slightly different variations of the “tall person” joke had been told earlier. “A tall guy walks into a bar.. a short guy walks under it” was posted Twitter on March 8, 2011. “A tall guy walks into a bar… OUCH!” was posted on Twitter on April 12, 2011.
