I can’t believe it’s not better” was posted on Twitter by Robert Wilkinson on July 24, 2020. “A tub of margarine fell on my foot three weeks ago and it still hurts. I can’t believe it’s not better” was posted on Twitter by Robert Wilkinson on August 29, 2020. “I can’t believe it’s not better” is a pun on I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter!, a brand substitute for butter.
   
“I’ve mixed I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter with butter and now I don’t know what to believe!” and “Sneezed all over my toast. Can’t believe it snot butter” are other jokes on the product name.
