Many ice dispensers seem to give either no ice or too much ice. “Our ice dispenser has two settings: -No ice -ENOUGH TO SINK THE TITANIC”—a reference to the RMS Titanic that was sunk by an iceberg in 1912—was posted on Twitter on April 29, 2013.
“All ice dispensers have only two settings: 1. No ice. 2. Holy Mother of God, that’s too much ice!!!” was posted on Twitter on April 25, 2014. “Every ice dispenser has two settings: -No ice -ELSA WHAT ARE YOU SO AFRAID OF??”—a reference to the character Elsa of the 2013 movie Frozen—was posted on Twitter on December 1, 2014.
“My ceiling fan has 3 speeds…” is a similar joke.
