“Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in”

“Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in” is a motivational saying that has been printed on many images. The saying has been credited to New York Knicks basketball star and New Jersey politician Bill Bradley since at least 2001.

Exact circumstances of the quotations are unknown. Bill Bradley was a public figure who wrote several books, but the quotation has not been found in his speeches or his books.
