Amtrak with Wings (Delta Airlines nickname)

The television show Late Night with David Letterman had this in a “Top 10 New Advertising Slogans for Delta Airlines” on July 16, 1987:
   
“10. Delta: We’re Amtrak with Wings.”
 
Delta Air Lines is one of the major airlines of the United States. Amtrak is a passenger railroad service with a mediocre reputation.
 
“Amtrak of the Sky” is a similar airline nickname. Related nicknames for Spirit Airlines include “Greyhound Bus with Wings,” “School Bus with Wings” and “Waffle House with Wings.”
