“An apple a day is nonsense. Apples are dangerous. Just look at Eve, Snow White…”

“An apple a day is bullshit. Apples are dangerous. Just look at Eve, Snow White, Blackberry or any pig at a luau” is a jocular apple saying that has been printed on many images. The saying was posted on Twitter by Miracle Whip is Salad Dressing on July 4, 2011.

“An apple a day keeps the doctor away” is an adage that suggests that apples are good for you. “Eve” refers to the biblical story about forbidden fruit. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) is an animated musical fantasy film; Snow White eats a poisoned apple in the story. BlackBerry is a brand of smartphones, tablets, and services, a competitor of Apple. A pig at a luau has an apple in its mouth, but is prepared to be eaten.

“Nonsense” is sometimes used instead of “bullshit.” “An apple a day is nonsense. Apples are dangerous. Just look at Eve, Snow White, Blackberry or any pig at a luau” was posted on Twitter by The Haves and the Have Nots Review on June 14, 2013.
