“At the end of the day, a cliché walks into a bar…” (bar joke)

“A guy walks into a bar…” is a typical form of what has been called the “bar joke.” A cliché version is:

“At the end of the day, a cliché walks into a bar—fresh as a daisy, cute as a button, and sharp as a tack.”

The joke was posted on Language Matters on September 20, 2014. (This date may be incorrect.) However, the joke went viral in February 2018.

A run-on sentence walks into a bar it starts flirting. With a cute little sentence fragment.
