One is Atlantic Antic, a street fair on Atlantic Avenue from Buttermilk Channel to Flatbush Avenue from about 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. There will be a marathon, Mayor Beame reading a proclamation, a balloon parade, David Amram's quartet, the Brooklyn Philharmonia Chorus, the pianist Eubie Blake, singers, an art show on the fence of the Brooklyn House of Detention and food.

28 September 1975, New York Times, "2 Camels Help Brooklyn Mark Atlantic Antic Day" by Dena Kleiman, pg. 59:
Yesterday was Atlantic Antic Day, and the camels were part of a parade alongthe mile-and-a-half stretch from Furman Avenue to Flatbush Avenue that was crammed with jazz bands, flea markets, and scores of food stands selling everything from pita stuffed with lamb to crepes.
