“Baking cakes can be considered math, science or art”

“Cooking is an art, baking is a science” is an old saying, with many variations.

The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic created many confusing regulations. Adley Stump, of The Adley Show on Facebook, posted a mock press conference, titled “What We Should ALL Be Doing Right Now!,” on April 17, 2020, and on YouTube on April 20, 2020. For those parents homeschooling their kids, she offered this advice:

“Baking cakes can be considered math, science or art.”

Wikipedia: 2019-20 coronavirus outbreak
The 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic is an ongoing global pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The outbreak was first identified in Wuhan, Hubei, China, in December 2019, and was recognised as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on 11 March 2020.

Don’t worry about it, they will learn so much about all the truly important subjects by being with you & your husband around the farm. Baking a cake is maths, science, art, learning generosity by sharing it, satisfying because it tastes fabulous! You are doing a great job!
