"Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it” is an inspirational saying that has been printed on many images. The saying was posted on Twitter on July 2, 2011.

Authorship is unknown. “‘Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it.’ ― Ziad K. Abdelnour” was posted on Twitter on October 12, 2013, but this is over two years after the saying had first been cited in print. Ziad K. Abdelnour is a Lebanon-born American financier.
