“Because of the huge increase in deliveries, FedEx and UPS merged and are now Fed-Up”

FedEx and UPS are rival delivery services companies. A joke has it that both companies are merging, with the new company to be called “FedUp.”

The joke has been cited in print since at least 1993.

The name “FedEx” is a syllabic abbreviation of the name of the company’s original air division, Federal Express (now FedEx Express), which was used from 1973 until 2000. The company is known for its overnight shipping service and pioneering a system that could track packages and provide real-time updates on package location,

UPS FEDEX TO MERGE

Hi I’m new to this group so you may have heard this news already.
But…my girl friend was at work when the UPS driver came into the office and announced that UPS was in the final stages of merger talks with Federal Express. It makes sense, they could do all the deliveries and pickups with the bigger UPS trucks and save a lot of overhead. I called the local UPS depot and finally got through to the manager. He confirmed the report and told me the new company will be called FEDUP.

Because of the huge increase in deliveries, FedEx and UPS have joined forces and are not Fed-Up.
Hit the Red heart if that made you smile.
